The Fray’s Isaac Slade Broadcasts Departure From Band – Billboard


Isaac Slade, lead singer of The Fray, is leaving the band, he introduced on social media on Saturday (March 12).

“I’ve some heavy information to share right this moment,” Slade wrote in a letter on Instagram. “I do know it’s been fairly quiet on the band entrance for a very long time however I wish to let everybody know I’m stepping down from The Fray. It’s been an honor and privilege to make music with these three wonderful guys for the final 20 years, and all for one of the best followers anybody may ever think about.”

He continued, “I let the fellows know 5 or 6 years in the past that I used to be on the point of name it, that I used to be going to start out my lengthy exit ramp and now it’s lastly time. And it’s all good. I want these guys all one of the best in no matter they do subsequent.
